ReconHub streamlines payment reconciliation​

Reconciliation is an essential aspect of the accounting process of any merchant and ensures the consistency and accuracy of financial records. This process can be time-consuming and error-prone when done manually.

ReconHub simplifies and improves this process by automating the reconciliation of payment transactions from various POS and e-commerce systems with data records from payment processors and banks. This helps merchants to speed up their reconciliation process, and if discrepancies are found, ReconHub provides an easy solution to resolve them.

Transactions are automatically matched and exported to the general ledger of the financial accounting system. Many transaction types, payment means, currencies, locations, organizational structures, and much more are supported.

ReconHub is designed for simple integration with all payment processors, POS, e- and m-commerce systems and financial institutions, or any other future payment mechanisms.

Data sources and available APIs​

ReconHub ingests data from different sources to enable the reconciliation process:

  • Sales
    This is data from the system where a sale was generated, for example a cash register (POS/ECR) or web shop system.

  • EFT (Payment Processor)
    This is data from the entity that processed a payment transaction, for example a credit card payment processor or e-commerce payment processor.

  • Bank
    This is data of the financial institutions to which the processed payments are paid out to.

To obtain data from each of these sources, ReconHub either provides one or more interfaces for data input, or supports interfaces of third parties such as POS providers or payment processors for data collection.
